✦ Snail Mail Club ✦ PRINT CLUB ✦
Paper letters from Prague — from S. to your mailbox
Every month, an envelope will be waiting for you in your mailbox. Inside is a postcard and an art print I painted, and a personal letter from me. Something small and quietly extraordinary.
Imagine opening your mailbox and between the bills and the flyers you find a letter with your name written by hand, an illustration on the envelope, and a small secret inside.
Chonker's Mail Club is a Snail Mail Club. The term was coined a long time ago as a response to the rise of emails. Today it's used in artistic circles for services that regularly send you a real, paper letter with some kind of art in the mail. A taste of slower, analog times.
If you long to find a cozy paper letter in your mailbox each month — one you can read slowly over coffee — this club is for you too.
Chonker's Mail Club is for you if:
…and it's not for you if you're looking for another newsletter
Each envelope holds a postcard and an art print made from my paintings, a personal letter, and other surprises — big and small — like a fantasy story, a collector's card, or a bookmark. The exact contents are a secret and change every month, but I always create the illustrations and stories myself.
The mail club is like a small ritual, and it works as a subscription. Each month you pay, each month I send you a new letter.
Choose whether you want to pay monthly or once every three months. Fill in your address and you'll get the next steps right away.
While the payment makes its way, I'm writing, painting, and creating — packing your envelope, signing the prints, and putting everything together at home.
I drop the envelopes off at the post office by the 15th of each month. They go as regular mail, with no tracking — that's where the name "Slow Mail" comes from.
You pick up the envelope, make yourself a coffee or tea, and just enjoy.
Payment is by bank transfer — no automatic withdrawals from your account. You'll always get a new payment request. Shipping only to Czech and Slovak republic. For other countries, send me an email to neobycejnaposta@gmail.com.
✦ June Mail bonus: Short Fantasy Story ✦
Here are some examples of my work. I paint in oils and watercolor, draw in ink or pencil, and create some pieces digitally in Procreate. The contents of each envelope are always a secret — you'll only find out when you open it. Each month brings new illustrations: painted flowers, cats, nature, architecture, and many other beautiful things.

Sign up before June 15, 2026, and you'll get the June mail in your mailbox.
For info about signing up for future months, follow this website or Instagram @knedlikova_posta.
For now, I ship within the Czech and Slovak Republics, and shipping is included in the subscription price. If you're from farther abroad, send me an email — we'll figure something out. Delivery usually takes about a week, but it can be longer. There's no way to track the package.
Once a month, in the second half of the month. The first batch goes out by June 15, 2026. For info about signing up for future months, check back here or on Instagram @knedlikova_posta.
My stories are set in a world a lot like ours, just a little more magical. Don't expect dragons or epic wars. No profanity or adult content, but they aren't written specifically for children either.
I create all the artwork and illustrations myself, S. Each piece I either paint as an original or draw digitally. I then reproduce my work as prints on high-quality art paper, and sign each print by hand. With the "Original" tier, you receive an original drawing or limited linocut print made just for you — that's why Original is only available to 5 members.
Absolutely! When signing up, you can enter the recipient's shipping address and the name I should use in the letter. No invoice will arrive at their mailbox — only a letter full of beautiful things. If you'd like, you can add a short message in the order notes, and I'll include it with the letter.
If your letter doesn't arrive within 15 days of being sent, send me an email. I'll send you a new one.
I decided to write the letters in my native language, Slovak. I wouldn't be able to write Czech without mistakes yet without AI's help, and I want to create my Mail authentically, with my own thoughts. I believe we still understand each other well enough :) English version is possible, please send me an e-mail if you're interested!
Of course — you can cancel your membership anytime. Just send me an email at neobycejnaposta@gmail.com
The main Chonker, our cat named Knedlíček, is our first adopted cat, and he brought so much joy and love into our home. He's exactly the kind of cat who curls up next to you when the evening grows dark, while you make tea, settle into your armchair, and pick up your favorite book. When you go to the kitchen for another cup of tea, he pads along beside you so you won't be alone (or hopes he'll get a treat). Knedlík is full of love, and I want to send that love out into the world with him.
I live in Prague and I love the world of old houses full of stories. I love flowers and nature, the scent of books and the forest after rain. I paint and create mostly just for myself, and I love the feeling when a brush touches the canvas, when watercolor bleeds across the paper. For a long time I was looking for a way to share this joy with someone. In May 2026, that's how Neobyčajná pošta — Knedlíček's Mail Club — came to be. I picked my favorite paintings, drew the logo, wrote a short story, and now all that's left is to hope you'll like the idea too.
My whole world revolves around cats. Eight years ago, Knedlíček and Lampa came to us from a shelter, and then we started helping street cats. So now we also have Šunka, Pučík, and Čokotka at home. The latest addition is orange Fuf, who is a whole chapter on his own. Each of them is a perfect unique personality, and they bring so much love into our lives (Knedlíček: exactly 8.9 kg of love). The mail club exists for them too — part of every envelope goes to help cats living on the street.
I'm dedicating the first month of the mail club to covering the vet bills for a stray cat named Koule (Little Ball), who crossed the rainbow bridge. Koule lived in a cat colony in Prague and I knew her for years. I tried to save her, but cancer was a tough opponent. We were determined to give her everything, but sometimes you can't win. We miss her every day in our colony. And that's why I want to keep telling her story, and the stories of other stray cats. ~ Because they matter too.
